Modify file2.svg to keep only the italic axis legend and delete the other layers What I have been able to do thanks to comment:Äraw my plot with ggplot2 and export it as SVG (with the legend not in italic) in file1.svgÄraw my plot with gridSVG in file2.svg using grid.export("file2.svg") (with error bars not displayed properly but with italic axis legend) Adjust the file to appear the size and look youd like. saving SVG directly with the plot interface in RStudio, and I have tried both ways described here, using whether ggsave or the Cairo package. ( web/print/app ) The Supreme OTF, TTF, SVG fonts do support the following languages : Danish. Most of the font families seem to be working fine, connecting to the right files, but for some reason EB Garamond has EBGaramond08-Regular.otf as its normal style and EBGaramond12-Italic.otf as its italic style meanwhile EB Garamond SC also has EBGaramond08-Regular.otf as its normal style. and they are not! -) They just come back to plain font. So, as you see, I want the x axis labels to be kept in italic font when exported to SVG. Simply go to Window -> Character A box should pop up that looks like this: Make sure that the second icon (the one I highlighted in red) is not clicked. Ill be going over all of the various ways you can use text in Inkscape, whether it be setting defaults, kerning, morphing text, warping the wording to take.
